RSVP link for WhatsApp
Stop counting replies in the group chat.
Make one RSVP link, send it to your WhatsApp group, and see exactly who's coming. It's free, and nobody signs up or installs anything: not you, not your guests.
Why group chat replies get messy
You post "Who's coming Saturday?" and the answers arrive as a thumbs-up here, a "probably!" there, "+2" an hour later, and a "can't, sorry" buried under forty messages about something else. To get a headcount you scroll back and count by hand, and you still don't know about the people who never answered. A question that needs one tap from everyone ends up becoming a conversation.
How it works
- 1. Name your event. Add a date, a place and a photo if you like. All optional. You get your link straight away.
- 2. Tap "Share to WhatsApp". It opens WhatsApp with the invite already written. Pick your group and send.
- 3. Watch the answers come in. Each guest taps the link, types their name, and picks Yes, Maybe or No, with how many people they're bringing. Your event page adds it up: "8 coming, +3 maybe".
What your group sees
Not a bare web address. WhatsApp shows a preview card with your event's name, and its photo if you added one:
You're invited: Sam's Birthday
Drinks, cake, and terrible karaoke. Come hungry.

A message you can paste
Prefer to write your own invite? Here's one with a clear ask. Type your event and copy:
Hi everyone! 🎉 Sam's birthday drinks, Saturday 8pm. Can you tap the link and say if you're coming? It takes ten seconds, no app needed: [your RSVP link]
Replace [your RSVP link] with the link you get when you create your event.
Getting everyone to answer
- Pin the message in the group, so the link doesn't scroll away.
- Nudge once, a couple of days before. Send the same link with "If you haven't tapped it yet…". Your event page shows who has answered, so you can see who to nudge.
- Let the reminders do the rest. Guests who add their email get a calendar invite and a reminder the day before, automatically.
- Use it beyond the group. The same link works in one-to-one chats, other apps, email, or on a printed QR poster.
Questions
Do my guests need an account or an app?
No. The link opens in whatever browser their phone uses when they tap it in WhatsApp. They type their name, tap an answer, and they're done. No account, no download, no password.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Type your event's name and you have a link. Your browser remembers that the event is yours. Add your email later only if you want to reach the event from another phone or computer.
WhatsApp has its own events. Why use a link?
WhatsApp's events live inside one group or community, so everyone you invite has to be in it. A link works anywhere: several groups, a few one-to-one chats, people on other apps, or an email. Everyone's answers end up in one place.
Can a guest change their answer?
Yes. Opening the same link again from the same phone shows their reply, ready to change, so you never get a second, conflicting answer.
Who can see the replies?
Anyone with the link can open the invite and see who has replied, the same as a group chat. Guests' email addresses, if they give one, are never shown to anyone.
Is it really free, and what happens afterwards?
It's free, with no ads and no paid tier. A week after the event, the page and every reply are permanently deleted, so your guest list doesn't stay online.
