What we keep, and for how long.

What's stored

• Your event: the title, and whatever else you fill in — date, location, description, photo.
• Guest replies: the name each guest types, their answer, and how many people they're bringing.
• A guest's email, only if they type one. It's optional. It's used to send that guest their calendar invite and a day-before reminder, and nothing else.
• Your email, only if you add one. Optional too — it exists so you can reach your event from another device.

There are no accounts and no passwords. You can create an event and collect replies without ever telling us who you are.

Who can see it

Anyone with the link. This matters, so it's worth being blunt: an invite link is unlisted, not secret. It isn't in search results and we never publish it, but there's no password on it. Anyone you send it to can open it, see the event, and see who has replied — which is the point, but share it the way you'd share the address of the party.

Guest email addresses are the exception: they're never shown on the invite page, not even to you as the host.

When it's deleted

Automatically, without you asking:

• A week after the event — the page, every reply, and the photo are permanently deleted.
• 90 days after you created it, if you never set a date.

Deleted means gone from the database, not hidden. Want an event gone sooner? Every event page has a Delete event control — or email us and we'll do it for you.

Cookies

Four small ones, none of them for advertising:

• Your event key — how your browser proves an event is yours without a password.
• A guest's reply key — lets a guest change their answer instead of replying twice.
• Where you came from — a single word like "tiktok", so we know which post brought someone here. Not tied to you.
• A session cookie — standard sign-in plumbing, only if you add an email.

Services we rely on

Running a website means other companies touch the data. Ours are: Resend to send email, Cloudflare R2 to store event photos, Fly.io and Neon to run the app and its database.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, builds no profile, and can't follow anyone to another website — which is precisely why it was chosen over the usual option.
